Ray Ortego, U.S. Navy, Retired

Ray C. Ortego died on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the age of 88.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice.
He was retired from the U.S. Navy and was a corpsman in both World War II and the Vietnam War.
Survivors include one daughter, Stephanie Harrell and husband Danny of Lafayette; two sons, Steven Ortego of Lafayette and Mitchel Ortego of Austin, Texas, two stepsons, Steven Ortego of Eunice and Joel Ortego of Eunice.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Folton and Annette Ducote Ortego and his wife, Helena Ortego.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the time of service.
