Tennis Hall of Fame member
BATON ROUGE – Services for amateur tennis Hall of Fame member Harry Barton will be Friday. He died April 27 at age 94.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II’s Pacific theater and was an attorney and insurance agent. He was a founding member of Bocage Racquet Club, whose annual senior invitational is named after him. He was elected to the Louisiana Tennis Hall of Fame in 1994.
Survivors include three children.
