School bus runs over, kills Caddo youth

Six-year-old Brenden Houston Thursday after being run over by a school bus.
The accident on Winter Garden Drive about 4 p.m. after the boy got off the Caddo Parish bus. The driver, Debra Kay Stevens, 59, of Hosston, is not suspected of having been impaired at the time.
It is believed Houston, after getting off the bus with a group of children, may have veered out of the sight of Stevens, and was thought to be clear of the bus prior to Stevens driving away.
Houston attended Herndon Magnet School, a K-8 institution.
