St. Edmund second-graders tour Jean Lafitte

St. Edmund Elementary second-graders took a field trip last Thursday to the Prairie Acadian Cultural Center (Jean Lafitte) in Eunice. They toured the center and learned valuable information about their Louisiana Cajun culture, its customs, music, Cajun Mardi Gras, and much more. Students completed a Social Studies unit on Louisiana. Pictured above completing a La. Scavenger Hunt are Simon Richard, left, and Aiden Veillon.
