VFW Ladies Auxiliary honor a Eunice Hero

VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 8971 honors Landyn Brown for Heroism

Landyn Brown was celebrated as a hero at the VFW Hall in Eunice on Monday evening. Brown was honored by the VFW Post 8971 members and the Ladies Auxiliary Post 8971 for his bravery in saving his family from an Easter morning house fire. Brown was awarded a certificate of appreciation, a plaque for his heroic behavior, a $50 check and $100 cash. The Ladies Auxiliary are pictured with Brown. In front from left are President Faye R.
