Former all-state athlete, coach, attorney

Services were Saturday for former all-state baseball and basketball player, coach and attorney Charles Roland "Chuck" Weeks. He died May 22 at age 35.
He had practiced law in Jena since 2011. Prior to that he was athletic director for Ebarb High, coaching girls and boys basketball and track. He also taught history and coached at Winnfield Middle School.
Survivors include his parents.
