Beta Sigma Phi celebrates Founder's Day
On the 83rd Anniversary of Beta Sigma Phi, the local chapter Xi Beta Theta celebrated Founder’s Day by progressing to the Laureate Degree. The Eunice chapter was chartered in March 1970 and for the last 44 years has shared the meaning of Beta Sigma Phi - LIFE, LEARNING, and FRIENDSHIP. From left are Sally Fruge, Lou Myers, Maxine Clause, Joan McManus, Janice Aguillard, Dale Ward, Nancy W. Manuel, Sue Rougeau-Fontenot, Edythe Martin, Sherald Smith, Pris Rozas, and Ginger Jernigan. Not Pictured: Melinda Babineaux. Also during a recent gathering the following officers for the 2014 - 2015 year were installed by the outgoing president, Janice Aguillard. Newest officers include: Lou Myers, Treasurer; Dale Ward, Parliamentarian; Janice Aguillard, Past-president; Maxine Clause, President; Sue Rougeau-Fontenot, Vice-president; and Ginger Jernigan, Recording & Corresponding Secretary.
