Two more held in Cankton home invasion case, third sought

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a home invasion that occurred in Cankton on May 15, 2014 and another is a fugitive.
St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office investigators charged Reginald K. Francis and Benneth Barras, both of Carencro, with home invasion, armed robbery, false imprisonment, criminal conspiracy and attempted 1st degree murder. Both Francis and Barras are being held at the St. Landry Parish Jail with no bond.
Shane Pomier, who was arrested and on Wednesday in this case, is currently being held at the St. Landry Parish Jail with a $500,000 bond.
St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Captain Megan Vizena said, “Jessica Rose, age 26, 204 John Wayne Drive, Lafayette, LA, currently has an outstanding warrant in connection to this crime. If anyone has any information about her whereabouts, you are urged to call St. Landry Crime Stoppers at 948-TIPS.
