Walker, Brown make 1-A All-State list

The St. Edmund Blue Jays finished in a second-place tie with District 5 rival Sacred Heart, who finished as Class 1-A runners-up.
Senior Christian Walker and junior Drew Brown were selected as Class 1-A Honorable Mention All-State
The Blue Jays placed 11 players on the All-District list.
Walker (.545 BA, 11 RBI) was named first team first baseman.
Senior Kramer Rozas (.500 BA, 10 RBI) was named first team utility player.
Junior Austin Sittig (.412 BA, 8 RBI) was also named first team utility.
Brown was selected as first team pitcher.
Brown finished with a 2-2 district record including a 3.13 ERA with 22 strikeouts and one save.
Second team selections included catcher Gibson LaFleur, Will Chachere, Alex Hunt, Cole Bergeron and Drake Dubois.
Ross LaFleur and Aaron Sittig were named to the Honorable Mention list.
Catholic High of Pointe Coupee pitcher Cole Langdon (4-0, 28 K, 17 BB) was named MVP, while CHPC’s Storm Reeves was Coach of the Year.
