LSU All-American
BATON ROUGE – Services for former Notre Dame and LSU football and baseball player Gerald “Jerry" Marchand will be June 24. He died June 20 at age 83.
He was an All-American fullback during his football career and a member of the LSU Hall of Fame. He played in the Senior Bowl and in the Blue-Grey Game, where he was named MVP. He was named to the LSU All-Century baseball team in 1972. He retired from Lamar Advertising as president of the Outdoor Division and Regional Manager.
Survivors include his wife Linda, two sons and a daughter.
Coroner
JACKSON – Services for long-time coroner Dr. Michael DeJohn, Sr., are June 23. He died June 20 at age 65.
He was an internist and had been East Feliciana Parish coroner for the past 23 years.
Survivors include his wife Laura, his mother and several children.

Civic leader
LAKE CHARLES – Services for Gloria Guerry Hollins, the first woman chairman of The McNeese Foundation, are pending. She died June 20 at age 82.
She was also the first woman chairman of the United Way Lake Charles and past president of the Junior League. She was on the board of several organizations.
Survivors include two daughters.
Educator
CECILIA – Services for long-time educator C.D. Guilbeau will be June 23. He died June 19 at age 94.
He was a veteran of World War II. He was the first 11-man football team coach at Cecilia High and was principal of Cecilia Primary for 10 years.
Survivors include two sons and three daughters.
Cultural leader
NEW ORLEANS – Services were June 21 for civic leader Betty Noe. She died June 18 at age 87.
She was active in the opera association and the ballet association. She was on the advisory board of the Kennedy Center of Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Noe, Jr.
Survivors include five children.
