Summer Children's Workshop at Player's Theater

The Eunice Players’ Theatre held its sixth annual Children’s Theatre Workshop on Saturday, June 21 with 22 kids attending. The workshop was under the direction of Gabe Ortego and Bonnie Pitre with help from theatre board members and volunteers. During the three-hour workshop, the kids discussed theatre etiquette, went through the fundamentals of lights, sound, costume, set construction, stage managing and make-up. When the parents arrived, the kids presented the play, “The Tooth Fairy” for their audience. Kids attending, ages 8-14, included: Suzy Sonnier, Lindsey Sonnier, Dain Reed, Aubrey Reed, Jacque Arnaud, Olivia Arnaud, Gracie Savoy, Nicolas Pitre, Camille Pitre, Kelsey Prudhomme, Morgan Narby, Charley Bieber, Maleki Pierson, William Oliver, Noah DeVillier, Madison Guillory, Claire Reed, Meghan Miller, Emily Miller, Mickaila Mier, Courtney Pitre and Nick Faulkner.
