Oberlin woman killed in crash

An Oberlin woman was killed Sunday night in a single-vehicle crash on La. Highway 26 east of Oberlin, according to Louisiana State Police Troop D.
The victim was 72-year-old Emily V. Adams.
The preliminary investigation shows that a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Adams was traveling west on La. 26 when it went off the road in a curve, police said.
Adams overcorrected, crossed the center line and crashed into a ditch, authorities reported, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
