Two booked after possible child abuse complaint

Two Eunice-area residents have been charged with battery involving children.
The arrests were made following an investigation into an incident that was reported to the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office on June 29.
According to Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon, his office received a report of possible child abuse at a residence located in the 300 block of Carl Loewer Road near Eunice. Upon reviewing the evidence Investigators obtained warrants of arrests for:
Robert Boulet, 25, Carl Loewer Road, Eunice. He was charged with three counts of Aggravated Battery and one count of simple battery. District Judge Kristian Earles set bond at $23,000.
Also arrested was Brandi Boulet,32, Carl Loewer Road, Eunice. She was charged with 3 counts of principle to aggravated battery and one count of principle to simple battery. District Judge Kristian Earles set bond at $23,000.
The sheriff did not say how the suspects are related, if they are, or released the ages of any children allegedly involved.
