City marshal, former warden
PINEVILLE – Services are pending for City Marshal Larry Jeane, who died Sunday at age 68, two days after being hurt in an auto accident.
He was serving his third term as marshal for Wards 9, 10 and 11 of Rapides Parish. He was the first warden of Work Training Facility North at Camp Beauregard and first warden of Allen Correction Center in Oakdale. He was a member of the Louisiana College Sports Hall of Fame.
Survivors include his wife Johanne and two children.

Pentecostal pastor
SHREVEPORT – Services for United Pentecostal pastor and district Sunday School director Willie Daniels, Jr. were July 19. He died July 16 at age 63.
He was pastor of Calvary United Pentecostal Church for 15 years and was Louisiana District Sunday School Director and a member of the International Sunday School Department board.
Survivors include his wife Laura and two sons.

Pediatrician
HOUMA – Memorial services for pediatrician Dr. Gerald DeRouen are pending in Lafayette. He died July 3 at age 67.
He was formerly chief of pediatrics at South Louisiana Medical Center and established private practices in Houma, Raceland and Lafayette.
Survivors include four children.

Developer, home builder
BATON ROUGE – Services for developer and home builder Paul David, Jr. will be July 21. He died July 18 at age 82.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Esso before a long career in real estate, home building and land development. He had an interest in numerous area corporations.
Survivors include his wife Donna and several children.
Arrangements are by Rabenhorst.

Educator, banker
LAFAYETTE – Services for educator and banker Jack Guidroz will be July 21. He died July 17 at age 88.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a first principal of the newly established J.W. Faulk Elementary. He was the first French announcer on KLFY Radio and founded Hub City Bank and Trust and was a member of its board for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife Lena and a son.
Arrangements are by Walters.

High school, college baseball player
NEW ORLEANS – Services will be July 22 for noted high school and Notre Dame University baseball player Casey Snyer. He died July 16 at age 52.
He was a key member as second baseman of Jesuit High’s state championship baseball teams in 1979 and 1980 and then played at Notre Dame. After graduating, he worked for Freeport McMoRan, DynMcDermott and Boeing Petroleum Services..
Survivors include his sisters.
Arrangements are by Jacob Schoen & Son.
