Margaret Hamby Cognevich

Margaret Hamby Cognevich passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at the age of 76.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Rene J. Cognevich of Eunice, LA; two sons, Steven Dale Cognevich
and wife Remonia Blanchard of Milton, Fl, and Gregory Todd Cognevich and wife Donna Galmiche of Maxie,
LA; two daughters, Karen Renee' C. Zegura and husband Kenneth of Buras, LA, and Cherie C. Stephens and
husband Andy Stephens, Jr. of Eunice, LA; four sisters, Bonnie Valentine of San Antonio, TX; Barbara Dumas
of Youngsville, LA; Shirley Bellue of Baton Rouge, LA; Jeanne Bowers of Belle Chasse, LA; eleven grandchildren;
and three great grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Orlon J. Hamby and Blanche Peters Hamby and one brother,
Donald Hamby.
Funeral Services will be held at Mothe Funeral Home in Algiers, LA with burial to follow at Our Lady of Good
Harbor in Buras, LA. Times of visitation and services are pending.
