Wanda Burney-Joseph

Funeral services for Wanda Gail Burney-Joseph, 50, will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00 am at New Zion Baptist Church in Eunice, LA. Visitation will be observed from 9:00 am until service time. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Baptist Church Cemetery in Chataigner, LA. Rev. Joel Green will officiate the services.
She died on July 24, 2014, at her residence in Eunice, LA.
Survivors include one son: Landon Burney of Tacoma, Wash.; one sister: Gwendolyn Burney of Monroe, Conn.; two brothers: Raymond (Armetta) Burney, Jr. of Vancouver, Wash. and Charles Burney of Los Angeles, Calif.A; one grandchild: Larian Burney of Seattle, Wash.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernestine Doucet Burney and Raymond Burney, Sr. and her husband, George Joseph.
