Retired judge
BUNKIE – Services for retired Judge James N. Lee will be Aug. 9. He died Aug. 3 at age 90.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was the first of only two judges to serve as Bunkie City Court judge and was an Avoyelles Parish district judge until retirement. He was active in the Louisiana Southern Baptist Convention and served a long tenure on the Southern Baptist Annuity Board.
Survivors include three children.
Arrangements are by Hixson-Ducote.

Hall of Fame prep coach
RUSTON – Services for noted educator and coach William Colvin will be Aug. 7. He died Aug. 4 at age 87.
He worked as a teacher, coach, high school principal and parish schools supervisor. He was a member of the Louisiana High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Survivors include his wife Betty and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Kilpatrick.

Appraiser
SHREVEPORT – Services for appraiser and realtor James Gallagher will be Aug. 8. He died Aug. 3 at age 82.
He was past president of the Shreveport Board of Realtors and served on the Louisiana State Appraisal Board and the board of the Louisiana Prison Chapel Foundation.
Survivors include his wife Celia, a son and four daughters.
Arrangements are by Osborn.
