Festival director
MORGAN CITY – Services are pending for Shrimp & Petroleum Festival executive director Lee Delaune. He died Sept. 20.
He had managed the state’s oldest chartered festival for six years. He was a licensed florist.

Lawyer
LACOMBE – Services for former in-house counsel for Allstate Insurance Frederick Haygood will be Sept. 25. He died Sept. 17.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and held the Purple Heart. He was a partner in law firms in New Orleans, Metairie and Baton Rouge.
Survivors include his wife Dot and a daughter.

Ex-police chief
JENA – Services for former chief of police George King will be Sept. 24. He died Sept. 21 at age 73.
He was Jena chief for 24 years.
Survivors include two sons.
