Noted LSU basketball player
HAUGHTON – Services will be Oct. 2 for LSU Basketball All-20th Century Team member George Nattin, Jr. He died Sept. 28 at age 74.
Nattin was a a three-sport all-state athlete at Bossier High before going to LSU, where he was an All-SEC Team member in 1962. His career free-throw percentage is seventh on LSU’s list. He was a member of the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.
Nattin worked in the gaming industry in Las Vegas and was first president of the Horseshoe Casino when it opened in Bossier City.
Survivors include three daughters.

Entergy VP
NEW ORLEANS – Services for retired Entergy vice president Regis Trumps will be Oct. 4. He died Sept. 28 at age 81.
He joined NOPSI in 1956 and completed his career with Entergy.
Survivors include his wife JoAnn and several step-children.
Arrangements are by Garden of Memories.
Pioneer law officer
LAFAYETTE – Services were Sept. 24 for pioneering law enforcement officer Jeanette Green. She died Sept. 23 at age 72.
She was the first female assigned to the Lafayette Department of Corrections and the first female deputy jailer. She was also the first female communications and equipment officer of State Police Troop I.
