Buford Vidrine

Buford J. Vidrine died on the morning of Monday, October 13, 2014 at the age of 72. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal followed in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Sensat, Celebrant. Arrangements were by Ardoin's.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and very active at the Church of Annunciation in Duralde where he was also a trustee. He was a member of the Parish Council Financial Committee, and was an insurance agent with Union National Life Insurance Company for 35 years.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce M. Vidrine of Eunice; two sons, Phillip Vidrine and wife, Sheila of Eunice and Mitchell Vidrine and wife, Carla of Duralde; a daughter, Kayla V. Vasta and husband, Thomas of Gonzales;seven grandchildren, Travis Vidrine, Tyler Vidrine, Trent Vidrine, Bailey Vidrine, Preslie Vidrine, Emery and Avery Vasta; his sister, Wedna Vidrine Fruge of Duralde.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alphan and Irene Guillory Vidrine; in-laws, Adjust and Evena F. McGee; brother, Elvin Vidrine; nephews, Bobby, Paul, James and Lance Vidrine, and Randy Fruge; niece, Karen Leger.
