Long-time vet
CROWLEY – Services for the nation’s first first-generation Polish-American veterinarian Dr. Anthony Stefanski will be Nov. 5. He died Nov. 2 at age 98.
He was Louisiana’s oldest living vet. He worked with the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture in the state for more than 40 years, an expert in disease eradication in livestock.
Survivors include four sons.
Arrangements are by Geesey-Ferguson.
