Elsie "Taunte Sam" Bellard

Elsie Lafleur Bellard died on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at the age of 85.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Father Clinton Sensat will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Aurdie Bellard and companion Denise Wright McDaniel of Eunice; one brother, Harry Lafleur of Eunice; three sisters, Anna Jernigan of Raleigh, MS, Mary Ann Broussard of Elton, and Mary Lena Babineaux of Eunice; and five grandchildren, Jordy Bellard, Blaise Bellard, Adrienne Bellard, Amelia Bellard, and John Bradley.
She was preceded in death by her parents Doza Lafleur and Emily Brown Lafleur; her husband, Clarence Bellard; one son, Ronnie Bellard; three brothers, Dewey, Raymond, and Frankie Lafleur; one sister, Dora Belle Lafleur.
Visitation at Quirk & Sone will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. by Deacon David Guillory. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday for visitation until the time of service.
