Former State Police supt.
CROWLEY – Services for former State Police Supt. and Secretary of the Dept. of Public Safety Col. Malcolm “Mac” Millet will be Dec. 8. He died Dec. 4 at age 86.
His law enforcement career spanned 50 years and five governors. After retiring from the State Police, he was chief deputy of the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Dept. for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife Josie, two sons and four daughters.
Arrangements are by Geesey-Ferguson.
Associate state librarian
BATON ROUGE – Services for retired associate state librarian and former Louisiana State Library Assn. president Vivian Cazayoux will be Dec. 9. She died Dec. 2.
She was instrumental in the establishment of a statewide system which made books available to residents of rural areas throughout Louisiana.
Survivors include a sister and three brothers.
Arrangements are by Rabenhorst.
Cajun Electric exec
BATON ROUGE – Services for retired Cajun Electric Co. executive Gary Hall will be Dec. 8. He died Dec. 5 at age 74.
He was a CPA and retired Chief Financial Officer of Cajun Electric.
Survivors include his wife Sharon and a daughter.
