ULL professor
LAFAYETTE – Services were Dec. 13 for ULL professor Dr. Surendra Dwivedi. He died Dec. 6 at age 69.
He held the Chair position, professor of manufacturing in ULL’s College of Engineering and director of Virtual Reality and Product Realization Lab.
Survivors include his wife Shashi and three daughters.

Restaurant equipment vendor
ALEXANDRIA – Services will be Dec. 16 for restaurant equipment company owner Juanita Talambas. She died Dec. 13 at age 89.
She was a partner in Louisiana Fountain Supply Co. and Southern Restaurant Equipment Co. for more than 50 years. She and her late husband Steve also owned and operated Reed and Bell Drive Inn.
Survivors include a son and a daughter.
