Lester Reed, 87, died on Friday, January 16, 2015.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at 10:30 AM. The celebrant is Msg. Robert Romero.
Survivors include his wife, Della Guillory Reed of Eunice; daughter, Beth R. Langley and her husband Jerome of Eunice; one son, James "Kurt" Reed of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Delphine Lange Reed; two brothers, Harold and Wilbur Reed; four sisters, Muriel Blankenship, Cryil Fontenot, Wilda McBride, and Mildred Fruge; and one daughter-in-law, Patti Reed;
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015, at Quirk & Son from 4 PM to 8 PM. A Rosary will be prayed Monday at 6 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin.
