PROSPECT – Services will be Jan. 21 for gospel singer Howell “Sonny” Addison, Sr. He died Jan. Jan. 18 at age 88.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the Twin City Quartet and The Noblemen gospel singing groups.
Survivors include several children.
Arrangements are by Hixson Bros.

Airport manager, state trooper
PINEVILLE – Services for former airport manager and state trooper Jesse “Pete” Terrell will be Jan. 21. He died Jan. 18 at age 88.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He held the Purple Heart. He was a retired State Trooper, and was the former Chief of Security and Airport Manager of Esler Field Airport. He also retired as the Chief Investigator of the Rapides Parish District Attorney’s Office.
Survivors include a son, J. Phillip Terrell.
Arrangements are by Rush.
