Curley J. Thomas, Jr.

Visitation for Curley J. Thomas, Jr. will begin at 8:00 am Saturday, Feb. 7 with a rosary at at 10:00 a.m. and funeral services at 11 a.m., all at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata with Father Tran officiating. Burial will be in the Frey Cemetery in Mowata.
Thomas, 75, died Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 6:00 pm in a Lafayette hospital.
Survivors include one son, Larry LaRue of Eunice; one niece, Taylor Thomas; one daughter, Mary Wilson (Roland) of Crowley; two brothers, Abraham Thomas of Eunice, and Leo Claude Thomas of Rayne; four sisters: Mercier Vallery (Cleveland) of Eunice, Rita Mae Thomas (Harry) of Winnie, TX, Celestine Thomas and Mary Thomas (Leroy), both of Rayne; and 5 grandchildren.
Hewas preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Curley J. Thomas; sister, Doris Guillory and nephew, Clifton Vallery.
Frank Brothers is in charge of arrangements.
