Gynecologic oncologist
NEW ORLEANS – Services for gynecologic oncologist Dr. Joseph Crapanzano, Sr. will be Feb. 12. He died Feb. 7 at age 84.
He was on the staff of of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine for more than 40 years. He was a founding member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists and former chief of section and director of medical education at Charity Hospital, LSU Division. He was a founding member of Louisiana Right to Life.
Survivors include his wife Rose and five children.
Arrangements are by Leitz-Eagan.
Former LSU hoops player
PORT ALLEN – Services for pharmacist and former LSU basketball player Ronnie Register will be Feb. 13 in Paragould, Ark. He died Feb. 6 at age 70.
He played ball at Nicholls State and LSU and operated several pharmacies before becoming a subdivision developer.
Survivors include his wife Loretta and four children.
Former LSU gridder
BATON ROUGE – Services for businessman and former LSU football player Benjamin Tisdale, III were Jan. 17. He died Jan. 13 at age 78.
He was president/CEO of MARTECH and played football for the Tigers in the 1950s.
Survivors include his wife Dawn and several children.
