Maddie, Bischoff set March wedding date

Lauren Elizabeth Maddie and Scott Joseph Bischoff, both of Lafayette, have announced their engagement and commitment to be wed on the evening of Saturday, March 14.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Denise and Joseph Maddie, Jr., of Crowley. She is the granddaughter of Violet Dugan of Crowley, and the late Warren “Buddy” Dugan, and Bernice Maddie of Melville and the late Joseph Maddie, Sr.
She is a 2004 graduate of Crowley High School and a 2008 graduate of McNeese State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. She is presently employed as a mental health specialist.
The groom-elect is the son of Faye and John Bischoff of Eunice. His maternal grandparents are the late Alice and Clements Sittig, and his paternal grandparents are the late Ola Mae and Bernard Bischoff, all of Eunice.
Mr. Bischoff graduated from Eunice High School in 2003 before attending Louisiana State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering in 2011. He is currently employed with Baker Hughes as a field engineer.
The Reverend Charlie Crews will officiate the 5 p.m. nuptial ceremony at First United Methodist Church in Crowley.
Following their marriage, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
