Verrett, Guillory plan April Nuptial

The engagement of Miss Lacy Chantelle Verrett to Mr. Phillip Michael Guillory, the son of Farrell “Teeny” and Pamela Guillory of Eunice, has been announced by her parents, Richard and Laura Betterton and Avery Verrett of Ville Platte.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Friday, April 10 during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice.
Miss Verrett, whose mother is the former Laura Lafleur of Ville Platte, is the granddaughter of the late Rodney and Valerie Lafleur, the late Hilton “Bud” and Beatrice Verrett and the late Weldon and Dorothy Betterton.
A graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Ville Platte and McNeese State University in Lake Charles, the bride-elect is currently employed as a case manager with Medical Resource and Guidance.
Mr. Guillory’s mother is the former Pamela Courville of Eunice. He is the grandson of the late Coleman and Theresa Courville, Francis “Roger” Guillory and the late Juanita Guillory.
A graduate of St. Edmund High School in Eunice and McNeese State University in Lake Charles, the groom-elect is currently employed as a plant manager with Coastal Precast.
