Academic All-State basketball named

Trying to balance athletics and academics can be challenging, but three St. Edmund athletes excelled in both basketball and the classroom to earn LHSAA Academic All-State honors.
St. Edmund’s Payton Crowell (3.95), Jami LeBouef (3.76) and Alex Hunt (3.86) all earned Class 1-A Academic All-State honors.
In order to be selected to the All-Academic Team, the student-athlete must be a senior, have participated in the sport for at least two years, and achieved a six-semester cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 or better based on a 4.0 scale.
