Eunice man charged in truck theft

A Eunice man is accused of entering a room at the Eunice Inn and taking the keys to a pickup truck.
Robert Hall, 39, of Farris Street, is charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, unauthorized use of a moveable and theft, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.
Hall was arrested after a reserve police officer spotted him at a local store. While Hall is in custody, the 2008 Nissan Frontier with a Mississippi license plate remains missing and Hall, as of Friday morning, was not cooperating, Fontenot said.
The victim from Mississippi said there was a handgun in the pickup, Fontenot said.
