Captain Higgins guest speaker at ABC

Acadian Baptist Center honored local law enforcement officers at its Senior Adult luncheon on Sept. 15. Capt. Clay Higgins, public information officer for the St. Landry Parish Sherriff’s Office was the guest speaker. Higgins, dubbed the “Cajun John Wayne” for his Crime-Stoppers spots on local television, inspired the audience with his talk about his life and his work, and afterwards posed for pictures and signed autographs.
