St. Thomas More Fall Festival begins Friday
Someone will win this golf cart as the grand prize in the St. Thomas More Fall Festival Live Auction. The cart is a Limited Edition Club Car golf cart, valued at $7,000, donated by Angelia Guillory. The live auction begins at 1 p.m. under the church pavilion. The St. Thomas More Catholic Church will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday with promises of a good time, great food, live music, live and silent auction, bingo and much more for the entire family to enjoy.
The fall festival times are: 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Fair armbands will be available for $20 for one four-hour period. Fair ride times are 6 to 10 p.m. Friday; noon to 4 p.m. Saturday or 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Children also will be able to enjoy games, and fun jumps.
Lo-Lo The Clown will be on the church grounds doing “her thing” — face painting.
Bingo will be played from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
A live auction will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday with one main auction attraction item, a limousine golf cart, fully customized with six-passenger seats. There will also be a silent auction on Saturday and Sunday. The silent auction ends at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Some foods available for sale on church grounds include chicken tenders, hamburgers, french fries, corndogs, barbecue sandwiches, cake, cookies, nachos, frozen casseroles, gumbo, shrimp etouffee, fried fish and shrimp, shrimp kabobs, funnel cakes and fried Oreo cookies.
