During the last School Board meeting, Central Middle was recognized for being published in the 2015 edition of Johns Hopkins University’s National Network of Partnership Schools for Promising Partnership Practices.
“Our MIX it UP activity was featured where we focused on staff members at Central Middle, also relatives and parents or grandparents of Central students as everyone interacted on our Mix it UP—Social Networking session last fall,” said Principal Ranolviaun Landry.
Central Middle School was one of only 71 schools throughout the nation to be featured in this publication.
“This year we will submit our grandparent connection bingo events and hopefully they will like the idea and we will get published again,” Landry said.
