Merlin Paul Moreau

Merlin Paul Moreau passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at the age of 79.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015, at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony
Catholic Church. Father Randall Moreau will officiate. Very Reverend Monsignor Robert Romero
will con celebrate. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Mausoleum.
Merlin is survived by his wife, Liz Moreau of Eunice; two sons, Father Randall Moreau of Mermentau
and Nicky Moreau of Eunice; three daughters, Stephanie and husband David Guillory of Eunice, Angie
Moreau of Lafayette, and Kim M. Ronquillo of Lafayette; one brother, Jerry Moreau of Idaho; one sister,
Mona Fuselier of Lake Charles; thirteen grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Merlin was preceded in death by his parents, Alphan Moreau and Bernice Manuel Hussman; one brother,
Thomas Hussman; one sister, Carlene Moreau.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held from 8:30 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM at
St. Anthony Catholic Church. A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church,
(P.O. Box 31, Eunice, LA 70535) or to St. John the Evangelist, (707 Orange St., Mermentau, LA 70556)
or to Charity of choice.
