Literacy Council of Southwest Louisiana offers adult classes

The Literacy Council of Southwest Louisiana, Inc., a United Way agency, will be registering new students for classes in Jennings for adults wanting to get a High School Equivalency Diploma or improve reading, writing, spelling, and math skills.
Fees for classes are $25 per person or $35 per family.
Testing and mandatory orientation dates stated below. Interested individuals will need to call for an appointment for testing as space is limited.
Testing is scheduled Jan. 4 or 5 by appointment. Orientation is at 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Jan. 7.
Classes start Jan. 11.
Classes are taught by experienced and qualified instructors in small group classes.
