EHS seniors work at a church cemetery as their senior project

These Eunice High School seniors Mandy Henry, left, Sophia Cormier and Shawn Fontenot performed their senior project at Greater True Light Baptist Church, cleaning old abandoned graves at their church cemetery. Under the guidance of Deacon Kevin Brown, the seniors spent part of their summer pressure washing, painting, mowing grass, and clearing out tree limbs that blocked abandoned graves. “We wanted to make them look new once again and to honor those who came before us,” said Henry.
