Flag-raising ceremony at East Elementary

VFW Post 8971 members held a flag-raising ceremony at East Elementary. Members present were Roger Veillon, quartermaster, Gene Olivier, Don Estillette, chaplain, Terry Matte, commander, and Ray Olivier. Ladies Auxiliary members included Moe Matte, senior vice president, Linda Thibodeaux and Gloria Olivier, patriotic instructor. Left, Alvin Wilson, an honor guard member of VFW Post 8971 plays the bugle during the ceremony.
