Class Act Student of the Week

This week’s Student of the Week is Rylan Newman, an eighth-grader at Eunice Junior High School. His parents are Richard and Wendy Newman.

If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I would like to live in the state of Washington because it has lots of academic and career opportunities and abilities.

Do you have a career wish? I would like to make a career in animation.

What could you eat seven days a week? Any type of food.

What could you never eat? Unedible objects.

What is your favorite school subject and who is your favorite teacher? My favorite subject is reading and my favorite teacher is Kay Dietz.

What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie is The Divergent series.

What was the last video game you played? Battlefield 4.

Do you Facebook, Tweet? Yes, but rarely.

What is an ideal summer vacation? An ideal summer vacation would be attending a video game or comic convention.

Who has the most influence on you so far? My father.

What would you change in your city? I would like to see Eunice offer more academic and career opportunities.

What do you like the most at your school? I like reading.
