Northwestern awards degrees

Northwestern State University awarded degrees to 910 graduates during Spring Commencement Exercises held May 6 in Prather Coliseum. Commencement speakers were Gov. John Bel Edwards and alumnus Dr. James L. Holly.
Spring graduates include:
Elton – Emily Davis, master of education.
Eunice – Kaycie Fontenot, Alison Guidry, bachelor of science.
Kinder – Meaghan Janousek, bachelor of science; Robbie Carlisle, master of arts in teaching.
Opelousas – Brittany Sam, bachelor of arts; Crystal Brooks, Kymberlee Chenier, bachelor of general studies; Haley Mayfield, bachelor of science; Sharhonda Collins, bachelor of social work; Ginger Fontenot, Francine Poole, master of science in nursing.
Pine Prairie – Kevin Ardoin, bachelor of science in nursing.
Ville Platte – Kayla Chapman, associate of general studies; Julie Hebert, John Vidrine, bachelor of science; Chasity Hatsfelt, master of education.
