Mary Alice illustrations donated at St. Edmund

Julie Fontenot Landry donated four original illustrations from her mother’s book, “Mardi Gras in the Country” to the elementary library at St. Edmund Catholic School. Julie’s late mother, Mary Alice Fontenot, was also the author of the “Clovis Crawfish” series, an idea that came to life when she taught a kindergarten class at St. Edmund from 1956-58.
