Woman faces charges after teen daughter arrested

A 32-year-old mother is charged with improper supervision of a minor after her 14-year-old daughter was arrested Eunice, Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.
Alexandra McGee, 32, of the 200 block of Point Aux Loupe, Iota, was charged Wednesday, police records state.
Fontenot said McGee’s daughter was charged with violating Eunice’s curfew law.
The daughter was brought to Eunice by a juvenile boy, he said. She was arrested at about 2 a.m. after police followed up on complaints about someone running through yards and jumping fences in the Prairie Street area, Fontenot said.
The juvenile curfew in Eunice is from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday nights and from midnight to 5 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
