Crafting a zipper bracelet at the library

Children were invited to a craft workshop Thursday at the library. Eunice kids crafted zipper bracelets using zippers, velcro, small gems-sequins, beads, tiny butterflies and rosettes, stars. They used glue and the librarians assisted with a hot glue gun to fasten the Velcro to the zipper. Left, Jenna Fontenot, 8, and Layna Fontenot, 6. (Photo by Myra Miller)
