Beautification project at St. Edmund
St. Edmund Catholic School nears completion of Phase 1 of the Campus Beautification project. Phase 1 included painting of all high school classrooms, as well as, cleaning and replanting of flowerbeds on the school grounds. To conclude year one of the multi-phased project, art work was added to the elementary and high school libraries. Artwork can also be seen on the newly renovated male athletic weight room. Phase 2 is underway as volunteers begin painting elementary classrooms. At right, Abby Brown, a 2016 graduate of St. Ed, created a mural in the high school library. Pictured, left, are other murals on campus. They are works of St. Edmund alumni Michele Barras Richard and Amelia Vidrine Smith. (Submitted Photos)
