'Spreading the love and appreciation' at EPD

Xander Bakka, 8, and his older brother David Fruge, 11, decided to do something special for Eunice policemen as an appreciation of what they do and how they protect and serve Eunice citizens. They prepared 31 goodie bags filled with a bottled water, rainbow chips, brownies, star stickers, notepads, ink pens, cheese snacks, and fruitie roll-ups. The brothers presented the goodie bags at the Eunice Police Department on Tuesday afternoon. Those on hand included, from left, Deputy Chief Richard Daigle, Patrolman George Cain, Sergeant Mitchell Hoke, and Detective Kevin McFarlain. Xander and David are the sons of Estelle and Bruce
