Guempel, Shipley announce October wedding date

Dr. Stephen and Mrs. (Martha) Guempel of Eunice are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Miss Leah Guempel to Mr. Richard Shipley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Pamela) Shipley of Forest Grove, OR.
Miss Guempel is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Guempel of Ballwin, MO, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Polk of Annapolis, MO.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Eunice High School, LSU Baton Rouge, and the University of Texas. She was a member of ZTA and Silver Wings.
She is the owner and an Audiologist at Central Texas Hearing Center.
Mr. Shipley is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Shipley of Forest Grove, OR, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Larry Ward of Vancouver, WA.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Forest Grove High School, and Northern Arizona University. He served as a former captain in the U.S. Army and is currently employed as a regional manager and consultant at Siemens Hearing.
The couple will exchange vows during an evening ceremony on Saturday, October 29 at the Point Aux-Loups Springs Ballroom in Iota.
