Louisiana Red to perform at festival fundraiser
Louisiana Red is scheduled to perform at 7 p.m. Friday at the Liberty Theater in Eunice as a fundraiser for the Experience Louisiana Festival.
Louisiana Red is described as a high energy powerhouse band that has enjoyed more than 25 years of success providing music for numerous Mardi Gras krewe balls, anniversaries, Down-Town Alive in Lafayette, Valentine Soiree at the Grand Opera House in Crowley and recently the inaugural ball for Gov. John Bel Edwards.
Louisiana Red performs the latest dance hits, local zydeco and Cajun standards and also pays tribute to the classic soulful dance songs of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Just a few of the pieces that are a part of their repertoire are Brick House, Heat Wave, Mr. Big Stuff, Old Time Rock and Roll and Three Dog Night’s Joy to the World.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door or by calling 337-457-1776. The Experience Louisiana Festival is scheduled Oct. 22 and 23 on the Louisiana State University Eunice campus.
