St. Landry Parish Sheriff Office reports arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Sept. 12:
Kathy Lynn Verrett, 33, 2039 Helen St., Opelousas. Forgery.
Corey Jamal Williams, 30, 5228 Hwy. 358 Opelousas. Four counts of possession of schedule II drugs w/intent to distribute, possession of schedule I drugs w/intent to distribute, possession of schedule IV w/intent to distribute, possession of schedule III drugs w/intent to distribute, illegal possession of stolen firearm, possession of illegal carrying of weapons.
Stevie Jones Fruge, 38, 916 Hwy. 13, Eunice. Failure to register as a sex offender.
Kenneth Wayne Meaux, 38, 624 Breaux Ave., Abbeville. Driving under suspension for a prior DWI, failure to secure registration, unsafe vehicle.
Mary Leanette Sailors, 54, 401 W. Vine St., #18, Washington. Aggravated assault with a firearm, simple battery.
Joshua Lane Pickett, 29, 179 Bear St., Port Barre. Resisting an officer, remaining after forbidden, simple assault.
Larry Edwards, Sr., 45, 124 Tulane St., Opelousas. Driving while intoxicated – 1st offense, improper left turn, expired drivers license. Arrested by Louisiana State Police.
