Man, 78, arrested for flashing females from his porch

A 78-year-old Eunice man was arrested Saturday by Eunice Police and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile and two counts of obscenity.
Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said Phillip J. Rodrigues, 78, 831 North CC Duson, was sitting on his porch when three females walked in front of his house.
“He stood up and shouted at the girls and pulled his pants down and exposed himself,” Fontenot said.
The girls ran to a nearby house where one of the girls call police, he said.
“We’ve had numerous complaints. This is not he first time he was arrested for this type of behavior at his house as people pass by,” Fontenot said.
The incident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, according to Eunice Police radio dispatch logs.
Fontenot said Phillips was sentenced to 10 years in prison for sexual battery in Livingston Parish.
